How long will it take to resolve a work site construction injury case?

I tell my clients, “as soon as I can”. We understand that someone that suffered a loss an injury in a construction site this is the way you earn your living, this is a way to support your family. You need their case resolved as quickly as possible. So, we move as quickly as possible, we’ll get the experts on board, we’ll get the case investigated once we can put all those pieces of this puzzle together, including an economics package to show what the value of the losses to you and your family. Then we’ll approach the other side. We’ll give them an opportunity to resolve it as quickly as possible. And by working it up right, on the front end, a lot of times we can get their case resolved quickly. Sometimes they don’t want to resolve it quickly, they have a complete disagreement with the way we see the case. Well, at that point it’s going to take longer to resolve. We have to litigate it. Sometimes it’ll settle before we try it. Sometimes it simply goes to trial and a jury is going to settle it. Our philosophy is the best way to resolve a case is to get the case ready for trial. And by doing the trial prep work early, versus late, we’ve had tremendous success getting cases resolved early for our clients. Insurance companies and lawyers on the other side know that we’ll work the case up and that we’ll get them the information early enough so they can make an evaluation.
