What type of construction worksite injuries do you see most often?
Transcript
I get a lot of cases where companies have men working on, at heights, over four or five six feet, no fall protection, no barriers, no barricades. And, workers of course suffer these horrible falls and injuries, broken legs, arms. I’ve had clients that were paralyzed as a result of these falls, significant head injuries. So fall protection or lack of fall protection is something I see quite often. There are a lot of cases where workers are crushed by mobile equipment, forklifts, dump trucks, backhoes onsite. That happens quite a bit. Unfortunately, it’s very it’s it’s horrible. I’m just trying to think of other things that I see quite a bit of. I’ve also had quite a number of cases over the years where companies, I don’t think folks realize how dangerous it can be in ditches, and when they get to certain depths the danger of a cave in. And, it’s one of the most horrible, horrible ways, that I can imagine anyone would ever suffer death. Literally suffocated. So, over the years I have seen quite a lot of different ways that companies break safety rules and men and women pay the ultimate price. And, when those things happen or if you think it’s happened call Bailey Javins & Carter.
